As a writer, it is always wonderful to test your skill level, explore the literary terrain, and get the creative juices flowing. I’m giving 4 prompts my best shot for my 222nd Story.

For prompt parties, I don’t have to pull out the little black cocktail dress that slips off my shoulder. Nor do I have to wear the four-inch high silver and black heels that make me look just about average height.

I don’t need to style my hair in a high bun and find that white gold jewelry set I got for my birthday in 2020 and haven’t worn yet.

I don’t have to dress up for this party. I can keep on my cut t-shirt, my hair in a scrunchy, and cut-off shorts. No make-up. No jewelry.

Why? Because it’s a party where I bring my brain, heart, and creativity woven into a magical tapestry instead of a bottle of champagne I don’t drink.

The Prompt Party Begins

Yes, I’ve arrived late, and I don’t mean fashionably late, but I’m here to participate in 4 prompts. Thank you, Amanda Laughtland, Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles, Yana Bostongirl, Ali, Natasha Nichole Lake, Lucy Socha, Klara Jane Holloway, and Paul Walker, for the inspiration and the invites. Here goes something…
