Ah yes, we call it guilt, but it is FOMO or the fear of missing out. It's that feeling you get when you think "what if this idea is better or this opportunity is better?"
The thing is when we jump to what we think is the next best thing, we get into the habit of not finishing things and the habit of not followring through. And before we know it we will have a trail of unfinished business. If it's a goal, follow through on the current goal and if the shiny new goal slips away with a little ingenuity we can find our way back to it once we complete the current goal.
Using the example in the story, finish making the bracelets for the women's group and you can always make the t-shirts and hats later.
