“Stay the course. Never given up. Some good will come from the situation.” I’d learned to live this way no matter how arduous or painful the course proved to be.

After changing the course of my life, I can joyfully say:

“Sometimes it’s okay to quit.” Just quit. Make room for change to happen organically, unapologetically.

Easy to say standing from where I am now, but when I was in the thick of it — I was terrified. Deciding to move away from my family and friends and quit my side hustle — a side hustle which felt like two full-time jobs — to pursue a life that inspires me every day was frightening.

Still, I wanted more.
