Tell Me What You See
Can your perceptions become deceptions?
With wisdom, we learn we can’t believe everything we see with our physical eyes.
“This world is an illusion,” the ancient ones said.
We can color our world with the perspective of others or in the light of Spirit — the very Spirit, the breath of life that animates us. When we color our world in light of Spirit, we perceive life from the perspective of our authentic self — the Spirit connected to the Living Soul.
As a result of this knowledge and wisdom, some say, “perception is reality.” Perception is not reality, but your perception becomes your reality.
Perception and Perspective
Perspective is how we see and interpret our environment and events; thus, perception is what we think we see. Our perception can be fooled. If we only use our physical senses to see our world and our reality from the perspective of someone else or something else, this world — a holographic reality, can deceive us.
For example, in February 2015, social media was trending with the hashtag #thedress. The Dress hashtag began as a discrepancy between a mother and daughter over the color of a dress.
