Confirmation Bias Ensures Any Argument on Social Media Will Be a Waste of Time
Why even bother?
I’ve navigated and made my moves on social media without too many conflicts. Yes, I can write a story on this platform, which may ruffle some feathers, but I’m not on my Twitter or Instagram timeline cussing and fussing.
I don’t have time. And even if I had time today or any other day, I have better things to do with that time.
I know there are essential issues people want to debate. Issues people want to bring to light. Eyes folks want to open.
Maybe you want the world to know, “Damn it, I’m woke (oops, I mean “I’m #woke).
But there is a wall you can’t see, and you are running headfirst into it if you are trying to win an argument on social media.
So, if it feels like you have a concussion, Confirmation Bias may be the reason.
