Don’t allow others to define you or assign you a role to play in your life story. Be the author in your life story and create your character.

Yes, it’s okay to play a supporting role in someone else's life. Subsequently, we are all telling our life stories. But, as the author of my story, I am the main character, the protagonist, and the lead.
Definitions, categories, labels, plenty of people willing to place them on you without really getting to know who you are or what you value. Many will give you a story before you have the opportunity to tell your story.
Some need to define others so they can be comfortable with their judgments.
You don’t have to wait for someone to define you. When you decide to become the author of your story, you decide who you are and how you will show up in the world.
