Today, I read a short but to-the-point story by Aura A. on this platform. In the story entitled, You are a Warrior; Aura A. emphasized that problems don't go away, no matter how small. After reading the article, it struck me — fear and Complacency, man, what a diabolical duo (and I mean that in the worst way).
Partners in Crime
When Complacency comes knocking at your door, get up and get focused. Complacency hangs out with fear. The two are age-old partners in crime. They will steal your time, money, hopes, desires, and so much more. A bright and abundant future isn't safe.
Fear and Complacency have robbed, killed, and destroyed futures since the dawn of humanity. They have been hanging out together for quite some time now, so they've gotten skilled at wreaking their havoc on folks with vision, talent, and skills.
Victims of their Crimes
You've met some of their victims. People who are skilled and talented but worry about everything! Still, they never do anything differently. They never take risks. And they are downright desperate to hang on to what little they have.
