Ellen, this isn't the first time I've heard of this. There are some who are offended by empaths. In Louisiana, we call it being charmed or born without the veil not to be confused with a "caul birth." Certain gifts people would have acquired or were born with. Some were highly intuitive and some were highly empathic. And still some highly perceptive.

We respected it and moved on in our culture. But you have some people now who seem jealous and want to spar about experiences that are not their own. It's just silly.
