Give Me a Little Less of You
Why should you become less so that someone else can become more?
Don’t think it can happen to you? You end up in a place you don’t recognize. You become someone you don’t recognize. You speak words that aren’t your words. Your light is your Star Power. Are you shining as brightly as your Soul wants to beam or did give your light away?
What was the reward?
Did you dumb it down? Play it down? Fall back? Give in? Walk slower? Dim your light? Wait? Stop?
Do you know how much more you will have to give just to get a little bit back? That little whisper, can you hear it? Is it warning you?
Now what?
Will you be loved just a little bit more perhaps, appreciated?
What is your self-worth worth? A kiss, a promise, a ring, a promotion, your parent’s praise, or a friendship built on nothing?
Then what?
You gradually forget who you really are. You gradually forget every goal, desire, dream, hope, and even those fantasies that wash over you right before you fall asleep each night.
How do you become less so someone else can become more?
It’s quite simple.
