I 100% agree, Kris.

Here’s what I’ve found — if a journal is too fancy and expensive it becomes too precious. Once that happens I freeze. I can’t write just anything in a precious journal. My words need to be precious too. The annoying part is precious words seldom show up on demand — if ever.

I 100% agree, Kris. That's exactly what happens. The journal is so beautiful, it deserves words that we think are "precious," beautiful. Then the pressure sets in, and the journal is a pretty empty pad.
