I am reminded of this song by Maxwell called "Pretty Wings." Every woman must take the time to find hers. I took a year of celibacy that turned into 19 months. I'm glad I did. I learned a lot about myself especially my tendency to want to be "every woman" and realizing it's a nice song by Chaka Kahn and Later Whitney Houston, but it's not real. I can't be everything to a man and I don't want to be.

That time opened me up to releasing a lot of self-doubt and when I had my year of redirecting my life, I was ready to make some tough decisions that put me on the path of healing and peace. Thank you for sharing your story Marilyn.
