I grew up with among ministers, gospel singers, deacons, mothers of the church. So, like you I simply accepted what they told me. Now, I've forged my own path. My spiritual beliefs are just that... My. Spiritual. Beliefs. They are mine and I don't need organized religion to practice affirmative prayer, meditation, mindfulness, and self-love, self-care, kindness, and compassion.
