I had an article up about being plagiarized. I've since taken it down because the author here on Medium who plagiarized my story through a false attempt of paraphrasing and I have come to a place of mutual respect and understanding. But some other writer high-tailed herself in my comments trying to tell me what "qualifies" as plagiarism.

I politely showed her the legal statute that showed "paraphrasing" someone elses work without credit is still plagiarism.

Oh, that wasn't enough. She went to my Carmellita in the Making story and criticized my Grandmother's comment about "touching lives." She said it was stupid. She'd been in the Newspaper business and publishing business for years and writers don't care about touching lives. "We want to make money."

That was it. I blocked her and she blocked me back. I can't even remember her name now.
