I heard a lot of arguing in my childhood. I didn't understand that arguments didn't have to end in slammed doors, tires screeching, or even sometimes physical fights. I studied communication in college, not just from a journalistic and perspective. I studied a lot about interpersonal communication and interpersonal relationships. It was through these classes along with Family and Child Study, Sociology, and Psychology that I learned how to have a healthy argument as well as how to have a healthy "agree to disagree."
