I love that you wrote this and laid it all out so kindly. I have a relative and a good friend who is on the spectrum. Both are smart and funny and caring. My friend he's sensitive to certain sounds and movements.

But he reacts nothing like they portray it in the movies. My relative, he's quiet, smiles and is very patient with children. Again its the sound thing. He can sit down and paint for hours, play the acoustic guitar and draw beautiful pictures.

I don't understand everything. Sometimes miscommunication happens with my friend and relative, but patience and love go a long way.
