I think you are right about how some people are heavy-handed with SEO. Google and other search engines are much more sophisticated nowadays. Since Hummingbird back in 2013, Google alone has improved semantic indexing. Keyword Stuffing SEO practices do more damage than good. Excellent advice here, George.
