I make mistakes myself based on mind slips. It's not that I don't know. It's that my mind may slip and forget to add "ed" to a word. I may be thinking course and type coarse--a mental slip of homophones. And sometimes grammarly doesn't pick it up. So I have to step away and come back to edit my work with fresh eyes.
