It has been taken completely out of context. It was never supposed to be follow for follow or read for read. I was a big backer of reciprocity. It was supposed to be about community and it turned into bullying people to read and follow. That's why I revised the concept with Reciprocity 2.0 which is:

"read and support the writers you enjoy." Period. Thank you for sharing your story Sofia. Maybe some will understand not everyone has time to be on Medium all day and night.
