It’s true, I’ve had some non-boosted articles do better or just as well as boosted ones. That’s the result of wider General Distribution which you can achieve with our without the boost. Boosts help tremendously, but writing Slow burner articles can be just as effective. Why? Because slow burner stories get wider general distribution just like boosted stories on Medium.
