I've told this story before, but I actually started on Medium in late March 2020 and left about 30 days later. I kept my account and lurked. Now, know more about the platform, I wished I would have stayed. I didn't return to writing on Medium until late September 2021. Just a year of writing here consistently. You need at least a year to learn HOW to write on Medium, BUILD connections, and BUILD a library of stories. But those who are committed will tell you it is worth it.
