Justiss, I like your balanced point of view. I just shook the whole thing off and took my "L." Still, some of these people have lost it, over this contest. To tell you the truth, contests are never just "fair." There is always some extra somethin' somethin' that is pushing or promoting somethin' somethin'.

I think Medium wants more gripping stories. Stories that keep the readers reading. I think they looking at the fact that their subscribers are paying for Premium content.

Maybe they are sick of the listicles (I love a good listicle) and the "I changed just one thing and.."

Moreover, the changes seem as if they are looking to attract "new." New everything.

Just my thoughts anyway.
