Klara, I started by just concentrating on my breathing. I would sit in a comfortable position and inhale for 6 counts, hold for 8 counts, and exhale for 6 counts. You can't think about all your worries and frustrations while breathing and counting. In between I would say "I am grateful. I am love. Life is beautiful. Peace surrounds me" and back to counting and breathing I'd go. I started with 5 minutes a day and worked my way to 30 minutes.
