Learned this last year from my boyfriend.

…s followed by the main character Luke Skywalker has a power called “the force.” Many times they say “May the force be with you.” and it did not take long for fans to realize that saying “May the 4th” is very close to “May the force.” so that is how May the 4th came to be known as Star Wars Day.
