Living in the south most of my life, I have never attended a church with a multicultural congregation. My mother and her sisters were gospel singers who traveled all over Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Georgia, and Mississippi. Though they were guest singers at a few Churches with white congregants, none were black.

I've lived in towns where you had your White neighborhoods and your Black and Hispanic neighborhoods. Separate but not equal. Insightful piece. I can go on, but I don't want to write a post here. Thanks for bringing light to this subject.
