Love is patient. I love that scripture by the way. I’m glad you brought up “overt displays of love.” It’s funny. That can be the most deceptive part of a transactional relationship and the biggest clue that you’re in one. Also, grand overt displays of love (love bombing) are how so many people have end up in romantic relationships with Narcissists. Love is not arrogant, indeed.
