My parents are visiting for thanksgiving. I'm looking forward to my mom's jokes and my stepdad's reviews of the latest movies he's seen. We have two separate menus and time in the kitchen.

I do think about how I do have less time with them since I moved 3 years ago. But there is a good side to it. Because when we are together we talk about everything and we don't take our time together for granted. You know?
