No one plans to be homeless or to fall back on their bills.

For the “land of opportunity,” life seems awfully bleak for a lot of people. Once you slide into poverty, it is hard to pull yourself back out. You may have become homeless, have past due bills, or be out of work for a long time. All these issues combine to form the perfect storm that keeps many stuck in poverty for a lifetime.
Poverty is a Life of Constant Shame and Fear

No one plans to be homeless or to fall back on their bills. I lost everything due to a natural disaster and I felt lost for nearly 2 years. I didn't know how to just "bounce back." If I hadn't had compassionate loved ones and parents, I don't know what I would've done.
