Oh, I hate this happened to you! It reminds me of those Vanity Presses from back in the day that "Published your book," but you had to pay almost 20 bucks for each book and then try to sell the book and make a profit. Who was going to buy a $30 book from an unknown author? Their mother?

Again, I hate it happened but I am so glad you shared your story. This can help many other up-and-coming writers.

Some of these people may start out with good intentions. The problem is, they try to do too much too fast and make promises they can't keep.
