Oh, Liberty, you are so brave to share this with us. But I tell you, this story is real for so many. I remember my mom telling me the story about how one of her brothers were killed and the other one was sent to prison for 20 years for bank robbery. It started out as a protest and then everything went wrong. She was pregnant with me at the time and she says she saw my grandmother age 10 years overnight.

You are so right about choices. I don't think we choose everything that we face on our path of life. We are born in a world with other people and influences that sometimes cause us to forget who we really are. I think we take these spiritual paths in life to find answers. Try to figure out why bad things happen to good people. And it's a question we've never really been able to answer. Oh, some think they know!
