…Blog posts are particularly guilty of this, ending either with the author’s bio, or nothing at all. If making ad revenue is the main goal, this is fine, but if you want your reader to buy an affiliate product, join your mailing list, or send you money in the form of donations, then you absolutely must tell them what to do.
