Preach! I'm always asked about my name and what ethnicity I am when my hair is straight. People ask if I am "all" black or "all" Latina. I don't know what the hell they are talking about. Then, it's "what's a creole" is that like Beyonce? I am a proud Black woman, a woman of color, I have creole heritage. It ain't exclusive of one and its all of it. I don't need to explain to anyone what my mother is, what my father is, what am I mixed with? What?

Nobody should have to explain it.
