Some choose to look at Biblical scriptures as a means to spread hate, and discord, and to justify racism, homophobia, and bigotry. Some choose to read the scriptures and interpret love, peace, and unity. Your filter will only interpret the scriptures according to what's already in your heart and if your heart is full of hate then you follow a hateful god. Great insight here, D. Denise.
