Spin the Block: Additional Insights About Returning to Old School Blogging

I have some additional insights and I’m answering questions about returning to old school blogging.

In hip-hop, there is a phrase called “Spin the Block” or “Spinning the Block.” Once upon a time, that phrase had extremely negative connotations. Now, it’s used to describe rekindling a romantic relationship that ended in the past.

I decided to continue with the hip-hop theme to share a few insights on my decision to return to old school blogging and answer some questions.

Yes, I’m about to “Spin the block.”

First, let me interject, I learned a lot about Hip-Hop culture not because I’m so heavily into it. I learned the language and culture as a ghostwriter for a popular website and publication about hip-hop from 2012 to 2016.

Having this background, once again, the light bulb popped on.

💡Insight 1: Organic social isn’t going anywhere

Question: What is organic social?

As I stated in Why I’m Returning to Old-School Blogging, along with returning to old school blogging, I’m also choosing to focus on organic social.
