This explains my exhaustion years ago when I tried therapy.

Therapy also felt troubling from a social aspect. I don’t love being in the spotlight and a solid hour of having to fill all the space in the room took a lot of energy. I’d find myself asking how Violet’s week was, wanting a reprieve from having to talk about myself and my issues for so long.
