This reminds me of when I moved to New Orleans. My Mom, Stepdad, and a few of my Aunts came for the move. They helped me decorate my townhome and it became an event. And yes, plenty of tears.

Years later, after Hurricane Katrina and when I lost everything, My Mom and Stepdad opened the doors for me and allowed me time to rebuild my life.
