Was this triggering? Yes. But in a good way. I remember how far I've come now. I was trapped in the manipulative bullshit for 5 years in my early 20's. I got free. It wasn't this pastor but others. All I was trying to do was be a good person and have a good life. Now, I believe in good. Had someone a few days ago trying to evangelize to me. She won't be doing it again.
