With each decade, we hope that the old geezers who don't understand science or don't care would finally retire from politics and people with fresher and better ideas will obtain those seats. The unfortunate thing is these politicians pass on their bad ideas to the next generation of policymakers so our best chance at change will be socially perhaps even radically.
