What happens when we suppress our creative ideas?

I recall the day I woke up early one Saturday morning. As I stared out the window, I sat at my messy, disorganized desk — books, pens, markers, coloring pencils, sticky notes, and papers everywhere.

Uninspired, I watched a squirrel running from one branch to another. And at that moment, I envied Mr. Squirrel. I watched a bird sit on another tree branch and eventually fly away. I resented that bird.

Then, I watched the leaves of the trees blow in the wind.

I begrudged every leaf.

My External Environment Reflected My Internal Environment and My Ability to Create
