October 19, 2020, Art Cafe in an Urban Vertical Village USA Around Noon.

We were nestled in a cozy corner booth, the murmur of voices, the clinking of silverware, and the soft jazz playing in the background in the café provided a comforting backdrop to our conversation.

“So, are you a day writer or a night owl?” He asked, his eyes conveying amusement and curiosity.

I chuckled, surprised by the question. “Neither, really,” I admitted. “Or maybe both, depending on how you look at it.”

He raised an eyebrow, seemingly intrigued. “Explain.”

I leaned in, happy to date a guy who cared about my creative world. “My muse is a bit of a… free spirit. He doesn’t adhere to conventional schedules.”

“He?” he chuckled. “You talk about your muse as if he’s a real person.”

“Oh, he is,” I giggled.
