Yeah, definitely get rid of it, but in the future if you can stand the smell of peppermint. Get some peppermint essential oil. Keep peppermint cotton balls in the corners of your RV. Mice hate the smell of it and so do other insects. And yes, eating your wires would be something rodents will gladly do.
