Yes, Mothers should definitely tell their children who their fathers are even if the relationship ended badly or even if it were an affair. Children need to know. Although my father wasn't in my life consistently growing up. He popped in every 4 years, I knew who he was. I knew what he looked like. I knew his name. I knew his date of birth. I couldn't imagine having the questions you have linger in my mind. But you have done so well, Donnette. This is the stuff that have women out there in the street, if you know what I mean.
