Yes, wouldn't it be beautiful to just do the work you love and not have to worry about earning! I get where you are coming from. As a writer, I have to keep my eyes on the market. I have to keep my fingers on the pulse of what's happening in the publishing industry. Still, I create stuff I like, and I enjoy. I won't allow writing to become a chore.
