You See More When You Look Within Before You Look With Out
Life Lessons wrapped in Poetry. Insight is a poem exposing how our outer world reflects our inner world.

Wisdom improves our intuition, and as our intuition increases, we develop insight. Insight has a manifold meaning. Insight is:
- an instance of apprehending the true nature of a thing, especially through intuitive understanding.
- penetrating mental vision or discernment; faculty of seeing into inner character or underlying truth.
- An unrecognized fundamental human truth that reveals the inner nature of things
- A new way of perceiving your world which challenges the status quo and tradition.
- Seeing into the underlying motivations that drive people’s actions.
In the field of Psychology, insight is
- an understanding of relationships that sheds light on or helps solve a problem.
- (in psychotherapy) the recognition of sources of emotional difficulty.
- an understanding of the motivational forces behind one’s actions, thoughts, or behavior; self-knowledge.
While the poem plays with Insight through the phrase in sight. The themes and meanings of insight are a part of the underlining subtext.
With this in heart and mind, I present to you…

but the water continues to seep
The vessel has a big ol’ hole
because you bought what was sold
That which is joy divine
was the farthest from your mind
Pretty things have you intoxicated
Keeping your pupils deceptively dilated
Illusions mark and claim you
Designed that way, don’t blame you
Yet my flame has…
