Is it worth the challenge?

A daily writing habit has inspired me as a writer, author, and publisher.

“Still going?” Roslyn asked.

Roslyn met me at the 7th-floor workspace in our building. Aware I’d be there writing today, she decided to pop in and finish a project she’d been working on for months.

“Of course,” I said, smiling proudly.

“And there goes that Scorpion intensity,” Roslyn said, referring to my Sun sign in the Zodiac.

In the story What’s Inspiring You to Write This Summer? I shared some wonderful ways to find writing inspirations this summer. And many of you have found that if you step outside your front door, you will find inspiration everywhere under the beautiful blue sky.

But when you have committed to a writing challenge and don’t always “feel like” completing a piece of written work, how do you find the energy, enthusiasm, passion, and motivation to stick with a piece until it is finished?

When Inspiration and Motivation Meet

The answer has to do with how you began your journey. I began my journey with a 60-day challenge and the intention to think and behave like an author, writer, and publisher.
